The Silk Letter
I paint on silk using dyes that flow like water and stain in seconds. There is no erasing only embracing with silk painting. It’s the most challenging medium I’ve ever used, but the vibrance and softness all in one, is beautiful. I’d describe my style as colorful nature inspired realism. I send a surprise bundle of paper goodies to my snail mail club members monthly. Each moth includes an artsy folded card with an envelope, a separate paper letter written by me, and bonus paper goods. My cards are great for many kinds of occasions. In past mailings I've sent birthday cards, thank you cards, anniversary cards, and other common occasions. I design everything myself. I do not use any AI, of course! My favorite three art mediums are painting with gouache & acrylic paint, drawing illustrations on my iPad, and using Inkscape to make my own vector designs and patterns.

Each edition is designed to give you a moment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect while staying close to the work The Period Crate is doing in the community. Why subscribe? Your subscription helps support The Period Crate and allows us to continue stocking free period products across our locations and expanding into new spaces. It’s a simple way to stay connected to the work while receiving something thoughtful in return.
