Mailbox Clubs Community & Listing Guidelines

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Mailbox Clubs exists to help people discover artists, creators, and clubs that make getting something in the mail more fun.

We want the directory to be useful, welcoming, trustworthy, and safe for both creators and the people discovering them.

These Community & Listing Guidelines apply to listings, accounts, profiles, images, descriptions, links, and other content submitted to Mailbox Clubs.

By using Mailbox Clubs, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms of Service.

1. Be Honest About Your Club

Listings should accurately represent the club or subscription being offered.

Do not:

  • Misrepresent what subscribers receive;
  • Misrepresent pricing, frequency, availability, or shipping;
  • Pretend to represent a creator or club without authorization;
  • Create fake clubs or listings;
  • Use false testimonials, reviews, credentials, or claims;
  • Misrepresent another creator's work as your own; or
  • Intentionally direct users to deceptive or unrelated destinations.

Information naturally changes over time. Creators should make reasonable efforts to keep their listings current.

2. Only Submit Content You Have the Right to Use

You must own or have permission to use the images, artwork, logos, descriptions, trademarks, photographs, and other materials you submit.

Do not upload artwork or content simply because you found it online.

Fan art, parody, references to third-party intellectual property, and similar works may involve rights belonging to others. You are responsible for determining whether you have the legal right to create, sell, distribute, or promote that material.

Mailbox Clubs does not determine ownership of intellectual property merely by approving a listing.

Copyright complaints may be submitted according to our DMCA Policy.

3. Keep Mailbox Clubs Safe

Mailbox Clubs may not be used to promote or facilitate:

  • Fraud or scams;
  • Phishing or malware;
  • Stolen goods;
  • Illegal products or services;
  • Human trafficking or exploitation;
  • Threats or credible encouragement of violence;
  • Doxxing or publication of private information;
  • Harassment or stalking;
  • Child sexual exploitation or abuse material;
  • Sexual content involving minors;
  • Non-consensual sexual content; or
  • Other unlawful conduct.

We may remove content or accounts that we reasonably believe create a serious safety risk even when a particular situation is not specifically described in these Guidelines.

4. Harassment, Hate, and Abuse

Criticism, disagreement, humor, and artistic expression are allowed.

Targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, or repeated abuse of another person are not.

Content that attacks, threatens, or dehumanizes people based on legally protected or similarly sensitive characteristics may be removed.

Context matters, including whether content is artistic, educational, documentary, satirical, or intended to target or intimidate someone.

5. Mature and NSFW Artwork

Mailbox Clubs is an art- and creator-focused platform, and some legitimate artwork may contain mature themes.

Artistic nudity, suggestive artwork, horror, profanity, or other mature themes may be permitted when lawful and appropriately presented.

However, Mailbox Clubs may restrict, label, obscure, decline, or remove mature content when we believe doing so is appropriate for the directory or its audience.

The following are not permitted:

  • Child sexual exploitation or sexualization of minors;
  • Non-consensual sexual imagery;
  • Illegal sexually explicit material;
  • Content intended to facilitate sexual exploitation; or
  • Material that Mailbox Clubs determines is primarily pornographic rather than appropriate for the directory.

Creators should disclose material mature enough that a reasonable subscriber would want to know about it before subscribing.

Mailbox Clubs may require a listing to carry a mature-content label or use a less explicit thumbnail or preview image.

6. Products and Mailings

Creators are responsible for ensuring that products and materials they sell or mail comply with laws applicable to them and their customers.

This includes laws or rules relating to:

  • Product safety;
  • Mailing restrictions;
  • Customs;
  • Taxes;
  • Consumer protection;
  • Age-restricted materials;
  • Privacy;
  • Intellectual property; and
  • Advertising.

A Mailbox Clubs listing does not mean that Mailbox Clubs has independently determined that a product may legally be sold or shipped everywhere.

7. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Fulfillment

If you operate a paid club, you should clearly communicate material information subscribers would reasonably expect to know.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Price;
  • Billing frequency;
  • What subscribers typically receive;
  • Mailing frequency;
  • Applicable shipping costs;
  • Whether a subscription renews automatically;
  • Cancellation procedures; and
  • Significant limitations or eligibility requirements.

Creators are responsible for fulfillment, billing, refunds, cancellations, customer service, and subscriber disputes.

Mailbox Clubs is not the seller and does not guarantee that a listed creator will fulfill an order or subscription.

8. Verification and Badges

Mailbox Clubs may offer approval, verification, featured placement, badges, or similar designations.

A Mailbox Clubs verification or badge means only that the listing satisfied the requirements of that specific program at the time it was reviewed.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, verification is not:

  • A background check;
  • A guarantee of fulfillment;
  • An endorsement;
  • A guarantee of product quality;
  • A guarantee that a business is financially sound; or
  • Verification of every statement made by a creator.

Do not alter a Mailbox Clubs badge or use one in a way that falsely suggests a status you have not received.

Verification may be revoked.

9. Links and External Websites

Links should lead to the creator, club, store, subscription page, portfolio, or other destination reasonably related to the listing.

Do not use listings to send people to:

  • Malware;
  • Phishing pages;
  • Deceptive redirects;
  • Unrelated spam;
  • Fraudulent storefronts; or
  • Content prohibited by these Guidelines.

Mailbox Clubs is not responsible for independent websites linked from listings.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Do not publish another person's private information without permission.

Creators should avoid putting personal addresses, private phone numbers, sensitive personal information, or other information they do not want publicly available into a listing.

Remember that public listings may be indexed by search engines and shared outside Mailbox Clubs.

11. Spam and Manipulation

Do not attempt to manipulate Mailbox Clubs through:

  • Duplicate or mass-created listings;
  • Fake accounts;
  • Fake engagement;
  • Misleading category or tag use;
  • Automated submissions;
  • Attempts to manipulate rankings or recommendations;
  • Unauthorized scraping; or
  • Other behavior designed primarily to game the platform.

Reasonable promotion of your legitimate club is welcome. Spam is not.

12. Reporting a Listing or Creator

If you believe a listing violates these Guidelines, our Terms, your rights, or applicable law, contact:

support@mailboxclubs.com

Please include enough information for us to understand the issue, including a link to the listing when possible.

Copyright infringement complaints should follow our DMCA Policy.

We may investigate reports but cannot guarantee a particular outcome or response.

13. What Happens When Guidelines Are Violated

Depending on the circumstances, Mailbox Clubs may:

  • Request changes to a listing;
  • Add warnings or labels;
  • Change a category or thumbnail;
  • Remove particular content;
  • Hide or reject a listing;
  • Remove verification;
  • Restrict account features;
  • Suspend an account;
  • Terminate an account; or
  • Report conduct to appropriate authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary for safety.

We may consider factors including severity, context, intent, repeated violations, risk to users, and whether an issue can reasonably be corrected.

We may take immediate action in serious cases.

14. Approval Does Not Mean Endorsement

Mailbox Clubs reviews some listings to improve directory quality.

Approval means only that we decided the listing could appear on Mailbox Clubs based on the information available to us at that time.

It does not mean that Mailbox Clubs guarantees, endorses, sponsors, certifies, or accepts responsibility for the creator, business, products, fulfillment, or statements in the listing.

Users should make their own decisions before purchasing from or sharing information with an independent creator.

15. These Guidelines Will Evolve

Creative communities change, and it is impossible to anticipate every situation.

We may update these Guidelines as Mailbox Clubs grows, new features are introduced, or new types of content and conduct arise.

We may also make reasonable moderation decisions about situations not specifically addressed here when necessary to protect the community or the platform.
