About This Club
The Good Send mails linoprint art inspired by nature and California landscapes, active lifestyle, dogs, sports, travel, and culture. Every Send has four components, all nicely wrapped and enclosed in a kraft envelope: ⭐️ LINOPRINT — 4x6 or 5x7" Real art - real ink, hand-made, hand-carved, hand-pulled collectible linoleum or block print on premium handmade paper, numbered and signed by the artist/pen pal, and enclosed in a clear sleeve. A collectible that belongs to the whole series. Limited edition only available to recipients in The Good Send*. 💛 GOODNESS — a personal letter from me. A personal compilation of poetry or prose, recipes or riddles, affirmations or awesomeness, hikes or haikus, and always a connection to the art within The Good Send. Tying the Send's themes into art, sending vibes of encouragement, and inviting more thoughtful connection between friends. Something good worth reading. ⚡️SEND IT - color in a postcard with line art based off the linoprint art, and compose a message to then send along to someone else! Use both right and left sides of your brain and send it to someone you're feeling deserves a hello. 🌼 EXTRAS — Maybe a sticker from my drawing, a book mark, or maybe a mini print! Meet the Artist
Joan P Bogart is a block print and linoprint artist making original limited edition linoprints by hand in Northern California. Her handmade prints are inspired by natural imagery - botanical, landscape, ocean- and also culture - she loves Indonesian Batik. The Good Send is her linoprint snail mail club that sends linoprints, coloring postcard with her art, and personal letter every quarter. Themes around outside adventure, dogs, flowers, landscape, sports, folk art, batik inspiration. A pen pal with art for people who still send things.
