About This Club
Sonqo means “heart” in Quechua. Sonqo Mail Club is a monthly letter from my heart to yours—a personal happy-mail experience inspired by my Peruvian roots, immigrant journey, family, pets, food, music, books, travel, photography, and everyday moments. Every month, I share a new story as if I were writing to a friend and telling them what has been happening in my life. Your mail may include an original postcard, stickers, a sticker sheet, a bookmark, and other small surprises, depending on the membership option you choose. Each edition is thoughtfully designed and assembled by me in small batches. My hope is to send a little piece of culture, friendship, creativity, and joy to your mailbox.
Meet the Artist
Hi, I’m Erika, the creator of Todo Tumi and Sonqo Mail Club. I was born in Lima, Peru, and later moved to Cusco, where my family is from. My maternal family names, Condorhuaman and Maita, reflect my Andean and Inca heritage. My family story also includes Italian, Spanish, and a little Chinese ancestry—a mixture of cultures that has shaped who I am. In my twenties, I traveled to the United States to study. Living in North Carolina changed my life. I was touched by the kindness of the people—their smiles, friendly hellos, and simple questions like, “Hi, how are you?” Those small moments made me feel welcomed and showed me how meaningful human connection can be. Sonqo means “heart” in Quechua. Sonqo Mail Club brings together my cultures, travels, family memories, food, photography, music, art, books, and everyday moments. Each edition feels like a letter written from my heart to a friend, sharing what is happening in my life and the stories that inspire me. Through Todo Tumi and Sonqo Mail Club, I hope to send a little piece of culture, friendship, and joy to every mailbox.
