About This Club
Behind Our Town is a poetry and art snail mail club that delivers a poem print and an art print (4x5.5") along with a thoughtful letter directly to your mailbox each month. Subscribers gain monthly access to hundreds of archived poems from more than 30 chapbooks (now out-of-print) and to archived artworks. This club is inspired by a pen pal connection with the poet Naomi Shihab Nye—who is an enthusiastic fan of these archived poems. The poetry, art and letters inspire moments of connection by celebrating the wonder of the ordinary.
Meet the Artist
I'm a poet and artist and the curator of Behind Our Town, a poetry and art snail mail club. I live near Nashville, TN in the forested hills of the Western Highland Rim with my spouse, Jamie, and our pet cockatiel, Cookie.
