Meet the Artist
For more than six decades, Matthew Waitesmith has followed creativity wherever it led—from painting and photography to fashion, beauty innovation, product design, and back to fine art. Best known as the founder of Artis and creator of the revolutionary Artis makeup brush collections, his career has also included leadership at MAC Cosmetics and collaborations throughout the fashion and publishing industries such as Vogue, New York Times, and Harper’s Bazaar. Today, through 100 Visions, he is transforming a lifetime archive of artwork into books, fine art prints, and creative experiences that encourage people to see ordinary subjects in extraordinary ways.
